Default Range day with my 300 mag

With hunting season fast approaching, I thought I should make my once a year trip to the range to shoot my 300 mag. I try to be ethical, so it is important to me that I verify accuracy.

I like to shoot a 300 mag because I am a busy person and don't have much time to work on my shooting skills.

This thing kicks like a mule. Generally, I close my eyes, clench my teeth and then yank the trigger. That way the recoil doesn't seem so bad.

The original target only had the center aiming point. But sometimes the stars align and things turn out pretty nice. I drew the other aiming points on the target when I got home.

Once I've got her sighted in I like to take a shot at a lifelike target, just to make sure things are working just right.

Looks like I'm ready to go hunting with my 300 mag.
