Most of my fishing has been in the Peace River or one of it's tributaries, but I've done some fishing in the Saskatchwin river drainage. So I have caught a good portion of the species listed and a few not listed.
Mountain Whitefish, Lake Whitefish,,Arctic Grayling, Goldeye,
Walleye, Sauger, Yellow Perch, Northern Pike, Burbot,
Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Cutthroat Trout, Bull Trout, Brook Trout.
and Redhorse Sucker, White Sucker, Flathead chub. I think that's all.
I have caught a few different types of Minnows, other then Chub. Stickleback for sure, and some little minnows with bumps on their heads. Others that could have been small game fish fry.
Mostly I fish for Walleye, Pike, and Goldeye, in the process I catch a lot of Chub, it's unavoidable in the main river.
This coming summer I hope to go to NWT and tie into one of those 30+ lb InConnu or Coonies as the locals call them. I'm told it's like hooking a power boat, I want to have a go at them. And maybe a big Lake Trout while I'm at it.
It's going to be less then ideal though. I don't have a boat and both prefer deep water. However, I do know when and where they can be caught close to shore, so I'm going to try.

Definitely a cutthroat. The big ones do have a very golden appearance but only cutties in that lake.
Here's a typical Rawson cuttie.

About 175kms as the crow flies They were actually stocked in Galatea and Three Isle in K-Country but they never survived. Too bad they wouldn't try a few other lakes in K-Country. They are a cool fish.

Sorry to de-rail BUT, Is there any Iconnu in AB? Obviously not down south but way up north near the NWT/AB border? Just wondering.

Nope. Closest River system with a population is the Liard.
