Depends on the price difference. Lots of guys are really happy with the T3. Is the T3x better, yes no doubt. But you can buy metal bolt shroud and bolt handle upgrades for pretty cheap. If it is a wood or laminate stock there will be no difference. That leaves the wider ejection port. I never had a problem with ejection and have never had a need to load a single shell in a hurry with a magazine fed rifle. If they are pretty close to the same price, no doubt t3x. But a few hundred dollars... save your money for glass or boots.
The new recoil pad is way better but still not as good as a limb saver. I haven’t put a scale on the trigger of my latest T3X but even with the trigger screw out as far as it will go it seems like a heavier pull than all of my other T3’s

I do agree with Ridger. I have the T3 and did the stock upgrade and limb saver, will eventually get better optics too. Just bought a T3X for my wife and with the adjustable hand grip...she loves it.
So, we both have what works.
Id post pics of them both but....heh...I cant figure out how too.
It depends on the price difference. I bought a T-3 Varmint when the stores were discounting them to clear them out, and added a metal shroud and a B&C stock, and am quite happy with my rifle.
