Question Email from SRD

Just wondering if anyone else just received an email from the Fish and Wildlife about voluntary catch and release in es1 and part of es2.

Yup. I mostly catch and release, anyway, except for the occasional Brook Trout, so no biggie.

Probably from your WIN? Probably cross referenced anyone that had a WIN, and bought a fishing license this year.

Must be to everyone. I got it and I am far away from any flooding. But of course they have no idea where I fish.

The SRD figured out most of us have vehicles ............ so they sent it to everyone.

They figure those outside of the flood zone may be capable of driving to an area effected by the floods.

Got the letter as well . Flooding changed the rivers a fair bit , but still seems to be a good population of larger fish , the small ones I 'm not so sure of .

If you are registered on the AlbertaRelm site then you provided an email....that is how they got in touch with you.
