Default Lake Whitefish on Fly Rod

Lake Whitefish on a Fly is fun fun fun!!!.. it parallels Bone fishing.. the Whites runs are Epic and some will throw in a jump .. exhilarating to say the least

My Middle son Nathan and his buddy Obii

so 6 fish and over 24# total fish

5 more released and heading home by 10 am

Got to Love days like today

You catch em on dry fly or nymph?

Boy speckle you sure are a true fisherman love your pics ,and would love to fish with you some day. The pics you showed a couple of months ago of Maligne trout , awesome.

Nice fish! IMHO whitefish are the most underrated sport fish in the province, they are a blast on a fly rod and are really tasty if prepared properly

Mickey you can sight fish them just like Bone Fish and see them hunting/feeding in schools or singles then you just cast to them

Not sure if I'm missing something here but Alberta fishing guide says 0 keep limit on lake whitefish in National Park?
