Deeper FishFinder on Ice Review
Ok, so guys had a bunch of questions about this unit I was using last time. This video has some of my commentary on the unit. This was my first day out using it, so I'm no pro with it yet. But at least you can see how it works a little better in this video. I kept getting interrupted by the fish. They just wouldn't stop biting.
The most common question is where can you buy it. And the truth be known I'm not sure if they are sold in Canada yet. They are online though if you want to check them out.
Here is the Deeper Fishfinder Review video for those who were interested last video I posted.

That's their office line action. Its not a store. They are currently looking to sell it through retail outlets. Can be ordered off their website www.deepercanada.com

Just watched the videos. Have to say that though this might be a great product I really didn't get much info. from the video.
The ice fishing clip showed a brief glimpse of the round "ball deeper" and a glimpse of a phone, but nothing about what it really does or how it connects to your phone.
The guy on the dock might be getting usefull info. but you'd never know what that info is or again how it's connected to your phone. Does show you how to "bait" or "chum" an area you think the fish are in which will be very usefull when it becomes legal here in AB.
Do you have any other videos or printed material that explains how it works and how you use it?

I take back my first post that was so critical. The you-tube link you provided is very informative, easy to understand and gives a very detailed description of what Deeper is and how it works.
Looks like a very slick unit and if it works as good as advertized would come in very handy. Good luck on this product and hopefully we will see more real life reviews like the one Brandonkop provided.

Looks like a great unit and very useful. My only issues I would have with it would be battery life on the device. I use my flasher all day and into the evening. There's no way my iPhone would last that long.
Next would be losing my device down the hole
Info like the idea and the quality but I thinknil stuck to my lx7.
I'm not bashing the product, I just don't think it's meant for me

I feel the same, 4hr battery life should be improved. I think it would be a good unit for the shore fisherman more so than anyone else, as Brandon mentioned. Great videos as always, I think this technology will improve drastically over the next year. I'm not sure I would jump on one of these right away.

This is an excellent concept.
The fact that you can cast it out and get a quality sonar return is pretty cool.
It won't replace my flasher or camera for ice fishing, nor will it take the place of my sonars on my boat, however, for those people who do some shore fishing, and want to find structure ..... it would be a great way to find holes and drops that hold fish.
For those who don't have a conventional flasher/sonar for ice fishing ..... it seems to fill that gap nicely as well.
The critical questions might be battery life under continuous operation in cold weather and just simple durability.
Great product for many people out there. Pretty cool .... this product will do well in the market.
I agree with WillowTrail ...... it's not for me ..... but still a good idea.

I will be at pine tomorrow. Had a nice chat with your online people on your Canadian site. I let them know about pine tomorrow and told them I would love to see you guys out there shoeing off your product and they informed me you would try to be there but it was very short notice which is understandable. I asked how your product worked in darker or blue green algae waters and was happy and surprised to learn deeper was tested in pine lake. Anyways I will be there hope some deeper reps can make it. Thanks for all the great info.

Yeah for ice fishing I would say it isn't a complete replacement for a Flasher unit, but it is a nice supplement. I often take the auger and go for a walk all over the lake fishing in search of fish. Carrying my Marcum, auger, scoop and a couple fishing rods gives me a pretty sore arm. With this device it just fits in my pocket and lightens my load a bunch! So I know it is tough to have more toys sometimes, but there is a benefit to have a small unit. That was the major bonus for me in the winter.
But I can't wait to fish it more in open water from the shore in lakes and rivers. Since I know nothing about river salmon fishing I'm sure it will help me find the deeper water and help me decide leader length for float fishing a run and as well where in that run the fish are stacked up. If it works you'll be seeing me haul in some silver fish this summer! Can't wait.

Hope it works for you Brandon, cant wait for the videos...I think deeper should pay you some royalties on the sales. Im sure many people like myself would have never known they existed, until watching your video and wondering what that big black bobber looking thing was you were dropping in the hole!

Like to add, Vexilar has the sonar phone/T pod for $130.00 to 150 dollars depending where you shop.
I am going to try the Tpod this year. $130.00 at Whole Sale Sports.

And humminbird has smartcast. Not sure on the price, probably around $90.00. I have the smartcast already. pretty much only good for depth.

Wireless Fish Finder
Yeah, I tried the Vexillar and the SmartCast, they feel like toys in front of the Deeper Fish Finder, They are an OK device but when you are comparing them, they don't even stand a chance for quality and performance of the Deeper... I have all three devices and the Deeper by Far, more acurate, better narrow beam for ice fishing and better view with easy to use application..
Go Deeper Go....
You Rock.... http://deepercanada.com
I will post some of my ice fishing this weekend...

Really starting to sound more like an advertisement.
R u his girlfriend?
just sayin, $90.00 for the humminbird, $130.00 for the vexilar. Spending any more, might as well put to the vexilar system. Works with navionics and can split screen with it.
Have 2 out of the 3 now. You could always send me one to try out.

sorry about the sore arm/small unit; maybe deeper will help you get a big one?
