That didnt happen to be a pair of Flak Jackets with black polarized lenses would it?

The weirdest thing I have ever caught was a bikini top at Pigeon Lake. I must have spent a good 2 hours looking for the owner of that

Golden Retriever in the NSR. Luckily it grabbed my bobber, not my hook. Quite the fight

Fishing in south Africa on one day I caught a sea urchin, about a dozen lobsters, and 3 or 4 sand sharks. Another time I caught two octopus.

in Alford lake a few years back had a loon swim over top of my fly and somehow got the line wrapped around its leg, wow that was something else to get that untangled , but the bird was fine afterward

While fishing Crawling Valley a few years ago, I hauled up a waterlogged 6 ft. fence post complete with 3 strands of barbed wire each about 20 ft. long. All this with 20 lb. line.

Hey Dj I just noticed this thread and was about to post about my seal that I got off that pier. That thing put up a crazy fight. I was also going to mention about that monster walleye I caught down at provincial park on that red and white that broke my line at shore and then I ended up hooking it again awhile later and got it to shore with the exact same hook on.

Default Weird catch

I caught a plastic bag in Johnson Straights (off of Prince Rupert.) the contents of the bag is what was weird, a large weight 5lbs and 3 more bags full of a green leafy substance which I turned into the RCMP along with the location of the find.

I was fishing in Lac Labiche back in the eighties and caught a line that had obviously been broken by the fish on the end of it. I let the fish go but got a good lure out of it.

I did catch a pike that was still hungry for my lure after it had eaten a baby duck and a small muskrat in it's belly. I moved into the reeds because of all the plashing going on but i didn't expect that.

Heard on Global news this morning about a guy in Florida who hooked onto a LIVE air to air missile, put it in his boat, and continued fishing for the rest of the day with the missile rolling around in the boat. Now, thats either real dedication or the heighths of stupidity.

Was hammering the Walters today at Travers and hooked into a fish that was just about legal size, but felt much bigger! In his mouth was my jighead that I snapped off on a "monster ***** walleye!!!" the night earlier. Turns out, it was not such a beaster like I had originally dreamed it was. Got my jig back and let him go to bite another day!

At Traver's Mike caught a Fish missing one fin, it was a fresh wound. That is not the strange part. About 2 hours later I caught it again! We laughed so hard.

To top it off, we went for some night fishing and what do you think I pulled in? I could not believe it!

Octopus, Wolf eel(UUUUGGGLLLYYY)while fishing on the west coast, and a Pelican at the spillway at Lake Newell. Unfortunately He peeled my line and I had to cut it off. I watched it for at least 20 min before he finally flew away...Probably quite P.O.d

I caught that story on CNN a few weeks back...I think they were planning on keeping it for some reason

As for me, nothing terribly interesting, just the usual assortment of crayfish, rocks, logs, etc...

In the mid 80's on the North Sask in city of Edmonton I caught and landed a tree branch that had 2 strange items hanging from it. Number one was a condom and number two was what looked like a female feminine hygiene product. I didn't think I was fishing in that kind of hole! lol.
