If anybody is interested in carpooling for the fishing trip you're more than welcome. Got 1ton long box for hauling the big lunkers home.

Jamie was mentioning if we wanted we could add a day in on the 18th if anyone was up for it, myself I would definitely be in if we could get a few more. I myself am also in either car pooling with someone or taking my vehicle, 1 ton mega cab. Looking forward to the good times.

Cheers, Dave.

Sounds good Dave, but we are short 2 still. We talked about salmon vs bottom fishing as well, and are really hoping to knock a few more species off the uncaught list. Bringing back a couple coolers of processed frozen ling, halibut, salmon, yellowtail or eye or whatever it is, rock cod, etc would rock!

Oh, I thought the Edmonton show Special was just under $2000.00, which is a great price.

Martin, yes we did have a Show special. But that was for May. This group of AO members will be fishing during a different time frame.

The trip last year was in May and they slammed them, but coming in later June may allow us to access to some weather dependant places.

You going to come with this group of characters?

Jamie

That price was for openings at the end of May, the $2500 is for a group Ken is putting together of AO guys for June 19-21 and possible 18th for those that are interested. Still room from what I understand if you are interested. PM Ken.

Cheers, Dave.

If I didn't have my trips all plugged in I would be all over this. Salmon fishing could be the best since 1930.

Jamie...what kind of transportation is available from Masset to rupert and how much is it? Do you know?

Sundance, I think you would have to make your way to Queen Charlotte city, grab the Ferry and I will pick you up.
Let me look into flights from Masset.

Soooo, I am not the only one excited about what may happen this year??
Even the guys at the Skeena Test fishery are talking.. and I NEVER hear a word from them. This could be the year to break all years!

Look out 60 pounders Great Pacific is coming for you!

Ok, just found a flight.
Masset to Rupert on a float plane
$234 one way.
Once again, I will pick you up.

Come along, I am sure you are going to have a heck of a time.

Just got off the phone with Jamie, deposit will be in the mail tomm. Anyone interested in adding an extra day to the trip for the 18th? Jamie has offered an extra day at reduced rate if we can wrangle a few guys, I am in and hoping we can get another 2-3 guys for at least one boat. Looking forward to the trip, sounds like it is going to be a blast and to top it off some great fishing.

Cheers, Dave

I am sure it will be a great time and I am definately thinking about it. For now it looks like I will be across the pond for that month finishing up a project.

Also thinking about booking another date depending on my schedule. We are booked for Langara later in the year but I would like to try Rupert as I have never fished the waters there before.

18th works for me too, and am hoping to hit some streams with the fly gear on the way up and back. I just have to hear from my travel buddy first.
