Default How far will bears travel?

So.. bored this spring and want to try my luck at some spring bear. Last November while hunting I came across some really fresh bear sign (as in parked the quad walked to my stand, when i came back to the quad the bear had rummaged through my gear).

What are the chances of hunting that same area for the bear this spring? Was going to try and mostly just go spot and stalk.

I have no idea if it was just an off chance that a bear was in the area and if it'll be anywhere near close this spring.. generally only looks like a few bear are harvested from this wmu every year according to the harvest reports.

I'm no expert but bear that show up in the same places year after year isn't uncommon and according to this website here their home range isn't that big at all.
These things are like cats when it comes to follow a routine.

Thanks Arnak.

Just wasn't sure with it being a southern 300 area.. Not really known for big spring bear hunting in that area I don't think.

Worst case scenario I guess I get get spend a weekend out in the bush!
