Question Pine lake algae

How is the algae out at pine lake? I haven't had a chance to check it out in a while. A friend of mine went out there a couple weeks ago and he told me that the lake was closed because of algae?

I grew up with that algae. When green acres put in the tube at the south end of the lake that helped a lot. Even so, the running joke is you can walk across the water at pine.

Miss my grandpas cabin and my other grandmas trailer and spending my summers there, but at the end of the day pine lake is a glorified slough with ski boats.

25 years ago the perch fishing was great. Now? Not so much.

We had a spot out at leisure for years and I never remember the Algae being bad, spent a ton of time in the water wakeboarding and swimming. Not sure if it's gotten bad in recent years or what.
