Default fenwick profile fly line from canadian tire

ok heres the details:I bought some 25$ profile fenwick fly line at canadian tire. The tips starts to sink i think this might be because i clipped a bit of fly line of. so i thought of ways to seal it. i put a dab of floatant on might this help? The fly line casts very well. i can throw tight loops and make it land like its got a parachute on. BUT the tips sinks!!!! so is the fly line i have good cause on the canadian tire website it dosent show fly line reviews
