be careful by the dam, haven't fished it for years but there was whitefish being caught and the odd laker back then. There is browns and rainbows as well , only caught them in open water though

maggots maybe , not sure if they are legal there now though . Better check the regs. A marmish hook worked for me years ago . try some trout jigs like a buzz bomb

Pretty much everything allowed except live minnows. We have virtually a smorgasbord for them. Hopefully it's nice day and the fish are biting to bring in the new year

Tried it again today, much nicer day, still skunked but did have a hit. We were using maggots, worms, minnows, and the one that got the hit was pink marshmallow. My son's choice, just so he can have a snack as well.Go figure.
I am determined though, so will be going back, if anyone has suggestions on bait or location that might work would be appreciated

really tough lake to fish. definitely some secrets to this one. my best luck has been in 10 feet on the flats for lakers and rainbows. good luck don't give up too quick.

A buddy of mine has a place on it, so naturally I have fished it several times. I have tried over a dozen spots on the reservoir and not one strike. He has an ice shack on the lake and sais it is mostly used for a change shack for the kids when skating. I wouldn't waste your time.

I think this on e might be better in teh summer trolling.
