I have always fished out from the boat launch and walked out to about 70 feet and fished, was wondering I saw some folks fishing the very tart of the lake wich I think is the north end as you come up to the lake, whats the depth there if anybody has any info? thanks

When the lake is low in the early spring you'll see bare land, with the exception of the channel/canal that flows through that part. So not very deep. Plus if you fish at the dam (north end as you described) be careful as early and late in the season there is open water due to the flow from the channel leading up to the dam. Or go with someone who knows that section of the lake.

Cheers
