Default Question Deer sheds

Has anybody found any fresh sheds in Alberta yet .

i have found a couple 2 weeks back before it got cold. was out yesterday and saw quite a few whitetails witht their horns still, big and small.

I found a set of mule deer sheds in my antler trap this morning out back.

found a 4 point shed on my buddies front lawn friday.

In the last two days I've seen 4 different whitetails with both thier antlers. Small to average size bucks.

I found a set of fresh Muley sheds at the end of December. Matched pair within about 10 metres of each other. I have never seen or heard of antlers dropping that early.

No kidding. I'm going to wait til the end of the month to go out looking. My goal is to find an elk shed and a moose shed. There is a bruiser of a bull elk on my quarter if I find his shed(s) I will take a picture and put it up here.

My rig was working in the battle river valley and almost every moring we would see a 5x6 bull elk on his right side he had a 12 - 15'' drop tine . Now i just have to find out who owns the land, and see if i can find the sheds overbreak up

Over only been out a couple of times and found a decent set of mulie sheds and a small moose shed, my buddie is having tons of luck and has found 7 nice whitetail sheds with a big nontypical set

If you search this forum you will find a thread dedicated to shed pictures...I believe guys have been finding sheds since the start of January, I have only found 2 so far...(Jan 23 & Jan 27) it will be a little tough finding the early droppers after this snow...

Seen 2 small whitetails with both sides yet. But however have found 2 sheds so far earlier, alot earlier.

Done pretty well so far, couple dozen already, 7 matching sets and some single jumpers. Donkey's still sporting their bone, couple more weeks...
