Have you ever killed a battered up Buck?

Nope, have yet to kill a buck. Pretty early in my hunting career though, only been doing it with any seriousness for 2 years.

My 2005 Muley had an arrow sticking half way out of one of his hind 1/4's. Looked to be a day old, must not have been able to rub or pull it out. The trajectory and shot placement leads me to believe some jack***** tried a long distance 'texas heart shot'....Cut around the wound while butchering and didn't notice any 'off tastes'.....
