Default Mulie hunting in 526

Good day all.

I am looking for any information on this zone. Haven't got to Map town yet and was wondering if there was a reasonable amount of crown land along the river valley or is it mostly private? What would be a typical day of hunting be like as far as number of animals seen / quality?

Thanks.

Default 526 mulie hunting

well as far as crown land goes there isn't a whole lot along the river, most of it is crown lease land, which we still need permission on. iThere is some crown but of course the mulies like the farm land. I am from that area and let me tell you we had a pretty hard winter. I am hesiatant to think what the bucks will be looking like this year, have a strong feeling most of th ol boys didn't make er, and from wha the spring is saying so far is that the does took a hit too. BUT........there is definetly still some decent hunting to be had. I don't know where you are from but it is quite a ways up north and i am sure there would some better spots in between that is unless you have someone like me who resides in the area and is out scouting everyday! Still too early to see how the deep forks did though.

Thanks for the info Gorilla.

Right now I'm just building up my priority for antlered mule deer. Thought I might check out an area first with a doe tag.
Have some fun with my muzzle loader.

Since I'm already here, does anyone have any recommendations for other WMU's?
