Off The Beaten Path Reloading Presses
As I have interest in the odd and unusual shooting and reloading stuff, just wondering if any of you out there are using any C-H 333, C-H Universal, C-H Magnum, Dunbar, Corbin, P/W, or similar heavy H style presses? Or any Hollywood Tool turret or similar unusual presses still in use? Lets leave out, no offence meant here, the run-of-the-mill RCBS, Reading, Hornady, Lee, Lyman, etc. presses please for this discussion. Just like to see some not so common stuff and how you like them.

An old co-worker of mine gave me all of his reloading stuff as he was getting out of the hobby, this was the old press he gave me. It doesn't take standard shell holders, so I have never used it.

I am still using, as my primary press, a Texan Turret top, single station press I got almost 50 years ago. Bought it from Dot at WW Arcade for the princely sum of 130$, which was a hell of a lot of money back in 1970. Reloading gear was very much more expensive back then than it is now. Dies in 1968 sold for about $35 new. Same RCBS dies are only about $55 today, but there is a huge difference in what the dollar buys. That $35 in 1970 equates to about $250 of today's dollars.
Works as good today as it did then.
This is what they look like. Mine looks like the one on the right, slightly heavier duty version. Were very popular in the U.S.

I use the ATRS big press for the BMG loading requirements. All CH-4 dies and unusual adapter bushings to get the stand alone de-capper die to work in the press.
With the proper lube applied, it's just like a hot knife through butter resizing the big case.
Not sure if it's unusual, but not really that common.

There are several versions of the Hollywood turret press, like the senior single stage. Some are nicer than others, this one looks like a very nice press.

Nice stuff guy's! There was a guy selling on ebay that had a collection of all of the old Hollywood presses, 11 different models made, for around $20K. The ETRS reminds me of the C-H single station press. Built strong. Cool stuff out there! Thanks much people!!

I still have some Herter dies. Very reasonable brand in it's day.

I bought a shell holder adapter for RCBS so I can use new style shell holders.
When I’m done reloading, I can use it for a boat anchor. Lol

I have a Herters press, bought it for heavy duty sizing that I thought would be too much for my Lee turret press. I had to make up an adapter for standard shell holders. I ended up just using the Lee turret for everything.
