Just wondering if anyone had made it out to Gull or Pine. If so what were the conditions like? And most importantly how has the fishing been? I decided to stay in this weekend because of the heavy snowfall.

I fished gull on sanday and saw 20 fish out of 2 holes. Not slow at all.

Good news then, where abouts do you fish. and where you get on the lake if you dont mind me asking? Not looking for your honey hole but just a general area. Thanks

West side of the lake pretty far off the beaten path. You better have a 4x4.

im heading out there tomorrow. (i think the north side tho)
first time to Gull and im hoping to find some nice sized perch.
we will have a 3/4 ton 4x4 so by the sounds of it we should be able to make it around the lake.
i just hope we dont get to much snow tonight and tomorrow!!

was on gull yesterday, just north of Brownlows. Between 3 of us we caught 16 perch , kept the bigger ones, 4 pike, and a burb. saw several whites couldn't talk them into hitting anything.

I was on gull today driving was okay off the north side, the weather was crap, and the fishing was worse. Left at 2 cuz the roads were bad. Guess there's worse ways to spend a saturday !

I made it out today as well.
Went out on the northwest side, right by the golf course.
Had no problems driving on
The first spot we stopped I had 5 nice perch with in an hour. Things slowed down so we moved....
Nothing once we moved so around noon we moved again....
Once again nothing....
Moved back to our first spot and I got another 3 ok perch.
Then just before 3 the cam was full of perch, but at this time the wind decided to go crazy and blow our tents away (luckily we were able to grab them as they blew up and over our heads)
So instead of staying and getting those perch we packed up and headed home. Good thing since the drive back to Edmonton was ugly.

I was out at Gull on saturday. Started at Wilsons and nothing so I moved to the village and 2 small perch, so then I moved to Brownlows and nothing, not even a bite. Finally left around 2pm as the wind and blowing snow was getting pretty bad. Witnessed a roll over on the way back to calgary and I must say I am pretty dissapointed in people. Apprarently no one can be bothered to help someone no matter how serious the accident. Access to the lake was very good a bownlows and fair at the village.
