Lost Tipup at Newell

Fished the northeast corner of that island in Jackfish Bay on Saturday. Wind and snow were so bad in the morning that three of my tipups got completely snowed in. Managed to find two of them but had to leave the third one behind.

Yellow Frabill with the black flag. Either says R. Ford or C. Mah on it. Will definitely buy whoever finds it a beer.

Fishing was terrible, by the way - tough sledding and we got out of there early before the roads were completely shot.

Was that you guys with the two trucks? I had to follow the shoreline to find the access, couldnt see at all in the white. I caught one 3 or 4 pounder as I was packing up, didnt stay too long it was like fishing in stinky milk.

Yep that was us Wayne. Been out there a long time...never seen it that bad.

When this weather breaks the fishing should be insane out there.
