Default Diving for treasure.

Was fishing a particularly nasty, snag filled hole this morning and I could see what looked like a rattling rapala lying on the bottom. Since the bite was a little slow and I was losing hooks at a furious rate I decided to strip down to my skivies and get that rapala. After recovering the rapala, since I was soaked, naked, and every fish in the area had undoubtedly left anyways I figured I may as well do a search of the whole pool. The water was murkey and the current a little tricky but I managed to find about a dozen hooks by diving down and feeling my way along the logs that lay about the bottom. On the way home I trolled a hard earned x rap and caught 8 walleye and a huge goldeye.

PS could the jerks who left all their trash at the sawridge creek please remove it. If not the next time I see you there I will park my canoe right in that hole and cut your lines.

why dont you pick it up yourself you lazy whiner how much time and energy did it take to scavenge all those hooks? why not spend an extra 5 minutes on the trash and then complain and make threats on the forum? your canoe would have made hauling them out easy........................

Use to do that in the red deer river growing up. fish the mornings and then in the afternoon grab a snorkel and float downstream grabbing lures hung up on logs and rocks. Hardly had to buy any back then, now I am just too lazy
