Default Spinners on a river

I just bought 3 panther martin spinners(all size 9 2gold and 1 silver) to try out on the bow river but i have never used spinners on a river
Does anyone know how to use spinners on a river like the bow?(eg. cast where and reel in how fast and stuff,,)
and does anyone know where I can get a good deal on a boat in calgary?(not the inflatable ones)
Any replies much appreciated =)

Depending on how fast the water is moving and how deep it is I like to cast spinners straight across the river. You can then either start retrieving the spinner or just let the current sweep the spinner around towards the shore and then reel it in. If I want the spinner to sink a little deeper I'll cast it quartering upstream, a little shallower quartering downstream. Lots of times letting the current swing my lure around with little or no reeling seems to work better than reeling it in.
