Default How many Lines?

Hey Guys,

This is a dumb question but I just don't have the answer available to me at work. How many lines can you have out per fisherman when ice fishing or regular fishing for that matter.

Thanks!

Morb

2 lines person while ice-fishing

Because that's the way it's always been for as long as I can remember. Besides it says it in the Regs.

More or less because ice fishing you stay in one spot. When you're open water fishing you are moving around a lot more.

I want to move to North Dakota you're allowed 2 lines in the open water and 6 through the hard stuff.

Back in the day you could use more lines fishing here also in the winter!
Know it cost more and you get less !

During 'regular' season, in BC you're permitted 2 lines if you're alone in the boat. But if there's more than one person, then only one line per licensed person!

I have trouble with 2 ice lines some days - no time to even eat a sandwich! I remember when I was a younger lad fishing with me and dad (3lines) you could bring 1 in and watch another rig go, be bringing that one in and get another bite!! 2 rigs is good enough for me!

reminds me of my buddy 'BIG DOG' he uses 1 line and watches me run back and forth between holes and calls me a game hog. no way i,m drilling his second hole --- no time for a corona .
