Nature vision makes a tip up that jigs the bait for you and is battery powered, and you got those Windlass tip ups by HT that use wind to inpart action on your bait.

IMHO the nature vision tip up is a P.O.S.

I agree lol.. the wind tip up's are junk... I used one for over 10 years. "windlass" I believe the brand was. ANyways I spent hours trying to get it to work right every time. YOu need to adjust it accordting to the wind, the direction of the wind and the weight of your bait. If the wind changed ever so slightly, or if you put on a different bait, you had to spend time fixing it. Often no matter what you do, it still won't work lol..

in 10 years I caught one tiny walleye on mine. Thats it. And a perch

We use the windlass for pike with a smelt on them they work good not hard to set just tighten spring up enough to suspend bait and watch the wind move it. Not so good in real cold weather as the line freezes in the polar tipups are better then.

Default Jigger

This jigger was made out of a barbecue rotisarie (2D batteries) and a wire rod holder. Not my design but I have been using it for years, some days it works great, others not so great, pretty much like any other presentation.
