Default Alberta/Sask Cold lake

Been to Cold lake a few years ago and noticed alot of fishermen will not cross the boarder line on the lake when fishing and some do.
So are we aloud to fish both side with one Alberta fishing lience.

Yes, you're allowed to fish Cold Lake with either an Alberta or Sask lisence and you can fish both sides of the border with either license. However, Alberta regs apply to the entire lake.

Mike02 your wrong about Alberta Regs on boths sides.

Alberta Regs on the Alberta side and Sask Regs on the Sask side. BUT Alberta limits on the entire lake.

The only difference I see is the use of madatory barbless hooks on the Alberta side, I see no mention of that in the Sask regs, thats interesting but I wouldnt be caught dead on either side of the lake with a barbed hook.

Alberta regulation page 17 " Cold Lake sport fishing".
Futhrermore you can use barbed hooks and gags if you wish on the Sask side.

Just some info for ya.
