Flames really need some points tonight to stay top of the pack in Pacific that are looking for a spot...

Crazy nice goal by Chuckie on the pp, tip from Johnny at the 8 min mark. Then Smith let's in a softie (imo) five hole that he sees coming only 24 seconds later.

1-1

Smith's save on Eichel was one of his best this year...but the Flames need to stop fooling around the net and put some in now, goodness but I can't handle another 'almost'!!

Dammit. That's a lousy point instead of two good ones. The penalties hurt us tonight.

Flames always seem to struggle against basement teams. Gotta fix that. Maybe start by beating the Oilers later this week.

Its always a good night of hockey when the flames lose. It would have been better if it was a 60 minute loss.

Fairly lackluster showing last night at the dome, Buffalo showed defensive dominance and Johnson was playing with confidence.

Lazar with that left though...!

Agreed, the Flames struggle with odd basement teams, but will show up all guns firing against the top teams. Can't argue with Smith's performance, he was fantastic when we needed him to be.

Can't argue with the extra point however. Gotta pickup our boys on the IR and get back to business.

Dont you coilers fans get enough losing watching mcloser and company? Lol Flames have points in the last nine games stay tuned to watch a hockey team that actually gives a damn and will be playing playoff hockey. How many number 1 picks does a team need to climb outta the basement lol, losers indeed.

Yeah I always enjoy those 4 extra games. Should we wait at the first tee box or do you want to just catch up on the back 9.

Ah the flamers. Save for that one year, just a lifetime of swimming in the sea of mediocrity. Some things never change.
Guess this is the reason for the secret man crushes on McJesus and Co. and so much time spent on the Oilers thread by lames "fans"

They might win 1 for the fans this year. I hear Johnny has been bulking up on "bear paws" and "mini-go's!"

Awesome! The Oilers fans must have been sweating, just waiting for the win streak to end so they could show up and chirp! We missed you like a bad rash, too.

Oilers, 11 points and 11 places back of the Flames, you go girls! And -18 goals for/against, McJesus may need to save harder!

The Flames fans actually have a realistic chance to watch their team in the playoff this year.

But that won't get them to the playoffs will it? Oilers are looking at a bottom 8 finish, keep that rebuild going, yay team!

Oilers fans, always gotta live in the past....I get it, the present and future is just too grim. But hey, maybe the Oilers can get another good player out of the draft and wreck him with a ten year rebuild!

*clap*clap*clapclapclap!

Did you take one for the team so they can win tonight? Hmmm?

Understood, as noted earlier, Flames seem to struggle against bottom feeders....

We're taking notes on how the Oilers are doing it tonight, in case we ever need to lose really badly for 60 minutes.....

Even the crickets have stopped chirping. Amazing how getting blown out in your own barn will do that.

I'm glad the Flames aren't so terrible that we bring up regular season games won last year to console ourselves.

Edmonton is going after another first pick overall. With two or three more, they might make the playoffs again.
