Where Im standing in tan Combat boots it a warm 44 deg Celsius. The sun is shining and the camel spiders are dancing with the scorpions. When I left sunny Dundurn it was minus 36 deg.
My life for 6-8 months, pictures will follow.

Seen 2 wtdeer walking around feeding out behind my house , where the grass never gets cut, so there is some tall grass for the deer to feed on in the winter and Bush for them to hide in

At the Range this afternoon it was -23C. Two shooters. I gave one chap a ride out to the 300M board to reduce the wait time.

I am working on a water intake on the North Sask River. Yesterday it was -24c at my place but down on the river bank, the site supe said it was -38. It was cold enough that the guys fuelling up equipment broke the 1" fuel hose.

Minus 32C this AM in Saskatoon. A trifle better than minus 35C yesterday.
Hard to get enthusiastic about the temperature, but the sun has been lovely.

Old retired guys from our ML club meet for coffee and a BS session Tuesday mornings.

Have a good day.

Supposed to be the coldest February in 40 years around Calgary area. Sick of it too. Been 3 weeks of below -20c to -30c. At least the sun when it is out is starting to put out some heat.

Default Month of March comes in like a lion all over Alberta

Is it too early to ask for predictions about when we’ll start to see open water?

Hopefully before June if this keeps up.

-35c here in High River this morning. All of Alberta is under a severe cold temp warning. Hopefully this is the end of the pine beetles invasion of AB.
