Default Crimp or not to crimp

I just picked up a couple boxes of accubonds for my 300wsm. There is no cannelure. Is crimping not neccassary ? There is a cannelure on my 300gr 375 partitions. The recoil on my light weight 300wsm is quite a bit more stout than that of my 375 ruger, do you think bullet slip will be an issue without the crimp? Any input would be appreciated.

If your neck tension is adequate, there is no need to crimp.

Take a caliper to test length of cartridge in magazine before and after sending a round downrange.
