Default RWS H-mantel w/speed tip

Makes me wonder if RWS has figured out how to do what Nosler says they can't or won't do with the Partition, a boat tail, polymer tipped H-Mantel, which is a partitioned bullet, that was actually around long before the Partition. Say they are discontinuing regular H-Mantel and going to this in production. Wouldn't be cheap, but, with Partitions at 110.00 or so now, I'm tempted to see if I can get some to try out.

My dad had a husky 270 he shot the barrel out. I replaced it with a Shilen barrel that shoots the RWS H- mantle 130 grain bullets very well .Those bullets are from the early 80s . My Nephew now has that rifle and I’ve managed to scrounge up approx 60 bullets for him. They used to come in container of 25 only . I haven’t seen any for many years and would be interesting to find more .

Sent an e-mail to see what the info is on them for BC/SD and a P&D for the 7mm 150 and the 30cal 165, see what they say. I have some 30 cal TUG and H-Mantel's I could use in the 300H&H, that was a roundotit project. They're loading 150's in 7RM and 165 in 300WM, 165gr in 30-06, so, I guess loaded ammo may be around for folk to try out this year. Wondering how much influence Beretta owning them now may have on their components being more avail now, seeing as we have primers around. Guess we'll find out.

well, what I magede to find out isn't encouragibg, "has" to be ordered thru Stoeger dealer now, and Stoeger has no plan of bringing in bullets as components, but will special order, as long as it is a 10 case order. Can't see as dealers around Canada ever coming up with a 10 case order, combined for bullets as components. Nice thought while it lasted, just didn't last very long.
Guess it's a good thing I got the Evo's when I did.

In the past I have ordered components straight from Germany, mainly bullets, but was looking at RWS 9.3X62 brass from Frankonia Jagd, or Reimer Johansen. Flick on google translate and check out Germany or France if you 'really' want them.
