HunterDave, Specs, Chubdarter and Sundancefisher all go fishing. While out in a boat catching boat loads of fish...cause we are all that good...Sundancefisher asks aloud. So how did you guys all get away from the wifey.

HunterDave always cunning...says I told the wife that I would remodel any bathroom she wants. Impressed Sundancefisher asks Specs the same question. Specs say...I promised the wife I would paint the entire inside of the house any color the little missus wanted. Lots of work Sundancefisher thought. Chubdarter never wanting to be left out chimed in. I promised the ball and chain I would do a high end remodeling of the kitchen to give her the cooking center of her dreams. Hmmm...Sundancefisher ponders. They then all go back to fishing.

Moments later HunterDave...can't stand the quiet pipes up and asks...so you tell us what you had to do to come fishing Sundancefisher. Sundancefisher said it was simple... This morning I rolled over at 4 am...gently kissed the wife on the cheek...cuddled up close and seductively started rubbing her thigh. As she started to wake I asked her if I should go fishing or stay home so we can fool around in bed. She rolled over and stared me in the eyes lovingly...and said...

Don't forget to take sunscreen.

Cool...Dunn is triploid brookies. Mayan rainbows are diploid. Cutts in Muskiki are diploids.

So the brookies is Dunn get pretty big you were saying? What is the biggest from Dunn?

Have you asked when they are started to stock triploid rainbows in Mayan?

Dunn.... lake 7.3 that i know he has it mounted not entered in club..

This year angler or Master angler 2011 and a friend Gerald said he saw a otter dragging a 10lber onto shore .. he spooked it .. he won Alberta this year 32inch Bull Trout.. he also had a 5.12oz brookie that is weight in lbs and he figure out the oz and got girl to write down disqualified(scale is # and .12 is 5.2 if you round up) ..5#3 won both were from Dunn.. Mann lots of 5 lbers i heard this year but not entered ..lots brag to me.. Miskiki good early some 20inch plus .. i camped there 5 days summer and slow even guys that did good early didn,t do good three guys caught legal fis out of thirty .. then there lots and didn,t see many legal fish caught and told about but they could have been lying only 2000 planted when back ice fishing in Dec and Tim caught 2 -18 inch brookie and a 43cm cutt .. i got a small brook.. lots and lots of minnows.. Kaden fish was caught on a Rap 19 inches Cutt..

Maligne hasn,t change in 31 years .. they cut back keep rate 5 to 2 but it does not matter in my opinion only open 4 months Big Lake deep natural spawn.. have i seen size improvement because of cut back to 2 kept fish..nope.. why is Maligne river flyfish only and Mediciene i don,t know can,t figure out that one.. just a bunch of fly fishermen bumped it threw though ..
if you want a big fish at Maligne you need to put in hours i fished that lake so hard i would be the only person in June in Camp grounds down lake 8 1/2 miles or 14
and if i had girl friend she would freak on me .. i have hit snow storms coming down lake and was so hyperthermic just barely got tent up and into bag.. wow cold but boy the days it was good it was AWESOME ..guys from every where talk about 100 fish days all though i never have 43 most me but then i fish deep water a bit

I need HD posting some more.

I never laughed as hard as when he stated making a stocked put and take lake a quality fishery so that the average size is bigger makes it a fish farm...yet leaving the trout in a put and take stock small and puny make it not a fish farm.

I busted a gut...that was so funny.

Larger fish...fish farm

Smaller fish...not a fish farm.

Ha ha ha ha ha...:sHa_sarc asticlol:

LOL...you are Freedom55...does that means if I can help hook you up you will be less stressed and we can be buds?

Or is this assumption just a failure to communicate

You wish! While I hardly hold a copyright, I know you ain't him.

While I'm at it, and I digress, I suggested some time ago that this would happen when a 'zoologist/biologist/mostly-a-paper-shuffler' joined the fray, enticing others to trot out their bona fides. Like anybody cares.

I do, however, retract my apology for bringing anyone into it. That was my mistake, this bears little relationship to the Kananaskis discussion. Someone was bound to show up and display his knowlege like the tailfeathers of a game bird and get into the name calling hair/pulling game. A bunch of someones, as it turns out. Not to mention the use of these clever little yellow icons that allow posters to imply nasty things without actually saying something that would get him censured, had someone trolled around and found something objectionable to report.

The real Freedom55 left the province and now fishes in the great wilderness north of Saskatoon. I am having no trouble enjoying the fishing and exploring. Like I posted elsewhere, plenty of room for everybody. But I also like the eastern slopes and grew up fishing all the streams and lakes from the Sheep to Waterton to the Crowsnest and will be pleased to continue.

As I mention on this forum a year ago in a discussion about tackle and fish television, big business "has turned us into a bunch of glory-seeking trophy hunters" and this thread may be indicative of that theory. Of course their underlying reasoning is not that there are no quality (big) fish; rather, it is anglers who do not have the right tackle to attract them, so get out and spend.

Who to believe? You fellas or Mr. Rapala? The one thing that I took away from this lonnggg thread is: Some of you will not be invited to come aboard. Like Mr. Hoey, who also knows a lot, you talk too much.

Freedom55 (loud and proud)
