Default Burbies - led hooks?!?!?

Hey guys,

Please chime in regarding hook preferences for burbies. Normally i go with a rattle jig head with a 2 tail glow in the dark body. Which i consider fairly standard. But i have a couple gripes about it. The jig head doesnt glow and the jig body glow is lack luster.

I have seen these new hooks out with mini glow sticks in them that you dont have to charge every 15 mins. It seems ideal but i have it in my head that it would be a bit much and spook the fish. I dont know the brand but there is a new thick bodied jigging spoon with these glow stick inserts that aldo rattles. Seems ldeal.... but wanted to see others opinions on it. I kinda like the dangly little jig tails.

Thoughts/experiences? (And yes i know it can be done a lot simpler as well).

Thanks and merry christmas! Careful on the ice its a strange year...

That almost sounds like over thinking it. We use a 1 oz jig head painted white. No tail or plastics. Chunk of herring, fish belly or fin. Thump bottom.

I just use 2 large hooks in a herring similar to a mooching setup. Here is what it looks like. https://youtu.be/uuoWsyZYgDM
