Default Home Made Tub Jig

We are heading out to Cold Lake in a few weeks. My youngest son has been watching me look at all types of Tube jigs available in the market. I've made the odd comment on how nice some are but are extremely expensive. Woke up this morning to a extra special gift from him. He bought all the parts , tied his own stinger hooks and put the lures together himself . Sure makes a Dad proud
Happy Holidays Every One

If you catch a big one on his jig I say take a pic and frame it with the jig

I made one very similar and the swivel with the blade kept tangling up with the stinger. Hopefully it doesn’t happen with yours. Looks really nice to me though great work!

Checkout lure making.com it’s probably your best Canadian option for supplies.

Thanks I will, it’s hard up north here to find good supplies and large tubes like that. Also the jig and stinger in 1-2oz.

Don’t think they have tubes and jigs but instead they have everything to make them.

Thanks guys. It definitely put a tear in my eye when he gave them to me. My wife told me he had been working on them for a month. I for sure will frame a picture with the lure and Laker and the both of us in it. We are going to be fishing Cold Lake at the end of January .Room booked. We are ready to go. Im crazy excited and so is he. Hopefully we will have some good luck on his Lures. Tight Lines everyone
