How to get Tomcat Urine out of fabric truck seats...
Well as the title says you can guess what happened.... I tried steam cleaning the seat and it didn't really work. Is there some magic solutions that I can make? Thanks

You could try soaking the cat in acetone and wiping the seat down.
Wear gloves.
Cat **** is the worst smell in the world to remove. I'd say try the detailing shops. Charcoal or ozone may help.

Steam cleaning will make it worse. You need an enzyme solution that you can get from most vet offices or maybe a good pet store. We used "Miracle" something or other when we bought a house that turned out to have carpet used by a previous population of cats. We tried all sorts of stuff, too, and after many hours found out about the enzyme stuff. You wet the area and leave it. If it still smells, you wet it again.
When finished, don't forget to shoot the cat.

how are you with your hands?
you can remove the seat cushion if that is the offender fairly easily to make the work a bit easier. An enzyme cleaner like rocky said or a mix of vinegar and water, soak, steam, vacuum, etc
likely the fabric itself is fine by now but it's probably into the seat cushion below the fabric and think yellow sponge. It might take some doing.
Shoot the cat.

Cat pee is THE WORST smelling and hardest odor to get out of anything. We had a cat that ****ed on our brand new couch and our bed, I shot the thing and we had to get rid of the couch and bed. I will never own a cat again and any that come near my house also go missing

Take it from someone that has been down this road before.... Replace the seat cushion and have it recovered.
I used everything imaginable, and in the end it always lingered

Even if you think you got it, wait until a 30 plus degree day in aug. It will be back. Check with a auto wrecker, maybe you can get a used seat assy if it dont come out.

I'll have a chuckle at your expense but I've been there. In 97 me and the Bil were both mechanics workin for an ag company and they sent us down to consort to work on a combine in september , so we had the windows down and the radio cranked in the ol f250 . Needless to say the farmers T-cat crawled in the cab and wizzed against the window and down the heater vents , brutal. So being a good ol company pos service truck we flushed it with used varsol and drove home with our heads out the window . Ace Ventura style but for 2 hrs in a very cool fall night . Never been a cat fan since. Oh yeah they had to auction the truck off ..... Poor sob that bought that thing.

Find a commercial cleaning supply store. They will have a product that will neutralize it.
Years ago I used Ban-O, and it was great.

Kitty tried it at our place. Tied a piece of snare wire around the bag, fastened it to a heavy chair, and had the dog put the run on him. Such a nice kitty now. His sachet had very little fur left on it, was quite blushed in color, and I now have a very well litter trained kitty!!!

Bring it to my place if you want. My hound and GSD's like cat.
Actually, there's been a female cougar with kits spotted behind my house. It was yowling a few nights ago. Two of my dogs were vewy, vewy quiet. They are now on my sh't list. One was roaring for a fight. I had to put her away since she had no back-up. Sorry for the distraction..one cat led to another.

DO NOT do that, grasshopper. If it is hit with soap or some other cleaning solution, it will likely get worse.
Buy a bottle of Nature's Miracle and follow the directions. Then you do can do the detail thing if you want. As per directions, wet the seat good and let it soak right down into the foam.
We bought a house that turned out to be contaminated with cat pee up to 1/8" thick - every room. every closet. Pulled up all the carpet and underlay and threw it out - after two tries with steam carpet cleaning. Treated the subfloor with everything and nothing worked. Nature's Miracle worked.
I found out during that ordeal that houses have actually been condemned on account of cat pee. It's is horrible stuff.
Here, kitty, kitty, kitty.....

Try putting fresh ground coffee on the contaminated area. It works great for stuff like this. Let it sit for awhile then vaccum

I don't know if this would work on cat urine, but my dog got sprayed by a skunk a few years ago so we used a paste of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda on her and rinsed really well. She slept in her kennel in our bedroom that night.
