The Bow is fishing well for Rainbows and Browns.

Chestermere and Glenmore will get you plenty of small-medium pike.

Get out there and hook up!!

Where you from?,..or what style of fishing?

Listen to the The Fisherman Guy as he mentioned a lot of great spots for both spin cast and fly fishing...

Do some searching on this site and I am sure you'll find you very own honey hole soon enough.

Good Luck

I forgot to add, some spots will be difficult/unfishable due to the flood.

I suspect Allen Bill Pond, Carburn Park Ponds to be damaged - perhaps someone can clarify.

Failing that, take a trip down to a fishing shop and ask the staff, another resource on local and recent fishing reports.

I called a lady from the provincial park around there, she said Allen Bill will not be open this year (I'm not sure if she meant at all or just for fishing), it was completely flooded out, lost many fish, and the bridge to get there was destroyed. That was a couple weeks ago though, hopefully it's getting fixed up faster but I don't see that very possible.

there are plenty of good places outside of calgary that are quite popular, like crawling valley reservoir (good place for walleye and pike, unfortunately walleye cannot be kept their) Travers reservoir(pike and walleye and so on), Spray lakes for lake trout and white fish and other trout, Ghost reservoir maybe like a 15 minute drive out of cochrane? good for trout and white fish and burbot/lingcod. there are many more lakes that are good fishing haha. these lakes are also good in ice fishing season!
