Pics from Down Under
G'Day Lads,
Went out yesterday afternoon with a couple of mates chasing Barra in a local impoundment. You might say I had a blinder.
3 fish in the boat in under an hour and all were over the ton (1 metre )
110cm
115cm
And the last one was over the magic 120cm at 122cm and was an absolute horse of a thing
This was the most amasing session that I have ever had and I am still smiling.....
Cheers Noel

G' Day Lads,
These are "Barramundi" just do a google search, they are a premier sportfish and from salt water are also the best eating.
I was using 60# braid (from memory, I haven't changed it in years) and my drag was up tight, all 3 fish cleared the water during the fight, the biggest left the water 3 times and took line from me when ever it tooks her fancy so yeah they are great scrappers.
Glad you like the pics
Cheers Noel

G' Day Lads,
Rockymtnx,
Mate they are Barramundi, I live in Gladstone which is on the Central Coast of Queensland, on the East Coast.
Donny Bear,
Naming your boat Barramundi is pretty cool. Mate if I have not moved to Alberta by the time you come back over look me up for sure.
Glad you Lads like the pics.
Cheers Noel
