Default Lesser Slave Lake Ice?

Hey Guys, on Friday I'm going to try fishing Lesser Slave Lake for the first time. Does anyone have any current ice reports as well if anyone is driving out with this cold snap?

I'm thinking of trying in the Canyon Creek proximity. Would anyone have any ideas that could be helpful? Thanks so much!

Going to Hillards Jan 5th . Buddy of mine is towing his shack on the ice today. As of yesterday he said were he had tested the ice it was between 16 and 18 inches. With -20 to -30 temperatures , the ice should bulk up real quick. He figures by New years it should be around the 20 inch mark.

Thanks Guys! Sounds plenty thick. I'll be testing as well but good to have a ballpark.
