20% buyers fee + a 30% buyers fee. Who would consign a firearm under those terms? Nuts.

I support any type of gun sales
Some are more economically viable than others

Thinking you have a typo there, but seeing historic prices, I'd sell their in a heartbeat. The question I have, is who is buying a firearm under those terms:
-5% GST;
-15% Buyers Premium;
-Shipping: $60.00; and,
-CC Fee: 3%.
So, unless you're local, you're paying $1,044.00 on a $800.00 purchase. Makes sense if your getting a deal and paying $300-$400 under "list" price, but from what I've see, unless it's a higher end gun (of which I don't usually see many), that's not the case.

These guys are out to lunch
5 % GST +20 % buyers fee + 18% Credit card fee = 43% mark up after you bid.
And 30 % for sellers fee. So they make 70% on every gun they sell !
NO cash or Debt card excepted !
18% credit card or 15% E-transfer take your pick

Just talk to Ward ,as it is a very confusing site.
Because of Covet 19 they do not want to deal with people ,very understanding.
So on top of your bid you will be charged
5% gst
15 % buys fee
3% credit card fee.
So it will be 5% + 18 = 23%
or
5 % Buyers fee
15% buyers fee
0% for e-transfer
5% +15% +0% = 20 %
no cash or credit card
Must call ahead when you are picking up .

I do know a guy that has 20 riffles in there , and had to sell them all because of health reasons . Some of them are just a few years old and hardly been shoot .
His Fair shot gun he paid $3500 the bid is at $1400
His Browning 300 with scope he just bought he paid $1600 it is at $700 only.
He has a few 22 in there that have never been shot .
So someone is getting a real good deal !
When I started to bid I was up to 20 guns total .
Going to be interesting what I end up with.
Paying 15 % on top is not to bad .
A $200 gun will cost you $230 to take home at this auction.
Same gun New at a store would be $400- $500. to take home .
Live auction starts today ...here is the link.

The guy you know, would be far ahead to have sold his firearms on consignment at a place like Prophet River. They would have gotten him fair market value, and paid a commission no more than the auction sellers fee.

Let us know what you got + price. Call me extremely sceptical 're deals to be had unless Covid-19 really depresses things.

Most guns I bid on went over retail or what I could buy them for at PD.
I bought a small safe for a decent price though.

Higher even. I took a look at some of the prebids for items coming up. 10-20% higher than you can walk out and buy one new, and thats Before the add-on fees.
Paying gst on used firearms? Uh, no thanks.

Is there any way to check on final sale price? There was about 20 firearms I was watching before and just want to see what they went for. I just went into wards website and all it comes up is bidding concluded.

If you were signed up on there you can goto icollector and into your account watch list and it will tell you what they sold for

Yup I quit bidding online there years ago, just crazy high prices then add on 15% buyers fee, 5% GST and 3% credit card change for 23% total fees and it's way out to lunch, never even registered for this one
