Pigeon has blue Algae this week !

Was out on Pigeon Lake lake Aug 27 .
Top of the water in some spots looked like someone dumped Green/blue paint on top and it was just floating on top .
4 weeks ago it was clean out there , not no more !

Boo! I was hoping for a cool down but that is a bit delayed yet. It was a low of 2 Celsius on the weekend.

Didn't see any whites floating when I was there last week. Hopefully they can avoid the stuff.

I'm surprised we haven't heard of any major summer kills yet this year.
