I have had it in both elbows. I'm a mechanic and rest also was not an option. I found a combination of things that helped me. Might not work for everyone.

Stretching by pulling your fingers straight back and holding for 10 seconds then bend and hold in the opposite direction for the same time. Did this many times during the day along with very small weights at night 3-5lbs. (Hammer curls and regular curls) That stretch helped the carpal tunnel as well.

I would fill one sink with hot water and one with cold. Dip my elbow in the cold for 30 seconds then dip in hot for 30. Back and forth 3 or 4 times. Did this for a couple of months and I couldn't tell you when it went away because I forgot about the pain. I keep up with the stretches as a habbit now. Pains been gone over a year now.
