Default Maligne Lake Update May 28, 2011

Drove up to Maligne last night to check on the ice. The ice in Home Bay was pretty rotten - I'm guessing ice free for next weekend, if not sooner!

It's possible, but a boat is going to give you better access to the "hot spots".

I just got back from Maligne and we landed 8 rainbows and 1 brookie in 5 hours, all in Home Bay. No sign of ice anywhere and rumour is that ice is out to Spirit Island.

What were you using to catch the brookies?
