Hey everybody looking for info on where to find an expedition sport with 900 ACE. Most places I called if they have em want to 10000 more than the MRSP.
Or if you know of any other 4 stroke trapping machine other than the tippy tundras and Skandics.
Thanks in advance

good luck, most dealers only received the machines that were pre-ordered last spring, the surplus inventory is incredibly low

Last expedition i saw was a 600efi. Most dealers only order them with the ace engines when snow checked. Good luck!

Ok guys I can’t find a expidition sport but I found a skandic LE 24” with 900 ACE. What’s the cons with this sled. I have to access my line on a unmaintained winter road then I’m on old logging trails. Is it to much sled for that?

Good sled, quiet, good fuel economy, has his/low range 24” wide track so very floatable. 90 has 90 Hp. Been running 600, 900 for last 8 years. No issues (except one fuel pump). Other than that we use them for xc ski trail grooming (pull a 600lb drag) 100% of the time. We always operate in low range (10-20km/hr), never had the sled in high range. Selling new around $20k for 2022 models. Purchased through riverside Honda in St. Albert. Been good service.

If your hauling loads I'd think it's built for that. I've got an expedition 900 ace wide track, love it for Alberta bush. Similar to what your looking at. Wide track is nice, never felt the need for a SWT myself.

Biggest downside is weight. But luckily hard to get stuck so don't often have to dig it out.

Thanks guys. One other question are they tippy like the tundras? When it’s not cold out I take my 5 year old with me and we are always looking for tracks so not riding hard.

Never owned one but saw lots of places where Miskosky would lay his Skandic on side hills. He had trapline beside us, my old polaris would hold those same side hills. Everything I heard they are a very good machine.

I have the skandic and it’s definitely tippy.

Not tippy, but more like a tank. The super wide track (SWT), 24” wide track, along with the wider Tunnel. Don’t go to far off the trail. Skandic Has reverse, but it’s no lightweight Mtn sled. If off the trail, better pin it. The Skandic perfect trapping machine. Just my opinion….. Now that I have hundreds hours behind the Skandic. I realize this sled more like a utility ATV , that can do everything, and still cruise at 85mph in high gear. Perfect for following up on a Poker Rally, with Tow rope(tow all the broken sleds back to there truck). Pull a moose out of the bush with toboggan. Be the go to guy on Mtn run, who pulls all supplies in toboggan. Waits at bottom of the hill, with couple coolers.
