Do the right thing and continue to buy from UFA. The other stations will gauge you on a moments notice, they don't deserve the business of Albertans

Drove through Vegreville today, UFA was the highest at 1.59.6, lowest in town was 134, whereas Costco in the big city is around 1.25. I thought oil prices were dropping.

The government announced the other day that they were reinstating 4.5 cents of the fuel tax at the end of the month. I think that the oil companies took that as a signal they should Jack their prices right away. They raise them 5 then lower them 2 the when the gas tax comes in they raise them 10 and everyone blames the government. It’s magic really.

UFA seems to be trying to make up for it now.

According to Gas Buddy, they are $1.577 in Red Deer while Fas Gas, Co-op, Centex, Esso, etc. are all $1.399, an almost 20 cent difference.

Please explain, how the hell does gas/diesel shoot up to around $1.50/$1.70 per liter when price of oil is going into tank around $73/bbl. Always believed Big Oil is raping us again for pure profiting on backs of people.

It's a win win for Big Oil, the cons would rather cut their taxes on fuel rather than tell Big Oil to cut their profits, and the libs want high prices at the pump to force people to go electric.

You can start a transaction and cancel it before pumping, and then print a zero receipt to check price, takes a minute or two to be able to reaccess it, but, it works. Was going to get gas in Delia today, went to Drum instead, UFA was 150.8 + tax, FasGas Drum was 141.9 tax in. Buddy tells me diesel was 1.44.9 + tax at UFA today.

Province knocks off 8.5c/l Oct 1 and the retailers are just profiteering.

Thumbs up.

Clear gas at UFA in Pincher Creek was 152.5 + GST = 160.3. OVERPRICED by 19 cent a litre compared to Obies in Lundbreck

I know it is SK and not AB, but gas here at the Shell is now 1.76. That sucks.

I just pumped some more money into my 370k Accord..I know this won’t be the last increase by a long shot.

An article in Global News blames the high price of gas in Vancouver (2.34/L) on them buying fuel from the US. It costs to maintain their principles of not buying our "dirty" oil.

Hard to imagine, we produce millions of barrels a day of the cheapest oil in the world (Western Select) at $60.90 a barrel today and BC paying $2.39/ liter for gas. Go figure someone is being screwed!
