Default Savage Magazine for Anschutz

Have any of you tried this, fitting a Savage MarkII magazine for a Anschutz. Did it work? There is so much stuff on the internet that I don’t know what to believe as true.

The next question should be: will the Anschutz retain the Savage mag until the release is pushed? Or will it randomly dump it on the ground like a Savage rifle?

The retainer locks the magazine in absolutely fine . Just have to make sure cut the notch in the magazine in the right place.

Take your time , the material on the magazine comes off pretty fast with a file .
