This entire thing reminds me of that Trailer Park Boys episode where J-ROC gets arrested and goes to jail. The entire thing was just a scheme so he could get a good picture album cover and improve his street cred.

This Trump jail stuff sounds like the same thing to me. Except instead of trailer trash its rich white collar trash. The worst kind of trash.

Yeah, except, there are people behind Trump who blindly followed his orders to protest and are still now, years later, behind bars. And Trump, did NOTHING to protect any of them. What morons would listen to him now? They will likely be repaid with the same treatment.

Trumps priority is Trump. Everything he says and does is about him. He could care less about anyone but himself.

Oh well .... this is how we thin the herd of dangerous delusional morons who believe anything that compulsive liar says and, in turn, clear the streets as they rot in jail.

The bottom line is Trump likely broke the law - is this latest charge a big issue? depends how you look at it. He's done far worse things IMO and he should be in a cell with Trudeau, Biden and other crooks. But that's not likely to happen. Politicians seem to be immune to any real prosecution. Trump will either get the charges dropped, or he will drag it through court until it's a misdemeanor and fine - he will live on to tweet some more.

Maybe old Marjorie will grab her AR15 and man the fence at Mar-a-Lago.

She is an interesting Republican of the highest ethics and morals.

Got to keep everyone on their toes!

In all honesty, if there was anything there at all, they would have tried this years ago.

Right now they're just scrambling for anything because they think that he might win again if he runs.
The Dems are terrified.

Which is sad, because I would like to think that out of 100 million+, that they could surely find two stumble-bums better than what was offered last time.

Is Hasbulla an American citizen?

I always marvel at how … out of 340 million Americans or 38 million Canadians that the best we have in Canada in the eyes of voters and their political parties is Trudeau and in the States is Trump and Biden.

Absolutely incredible.

Should actually give everyone hope, regardless of their position on the bell curve of intelligence and ethics… they can achieve anything.

You said everything I wanted to. I can't stand Bumbling Biden and his crew, but wished Trump would just go back to his business. The group that has run for president the last couple elections is just embarrassing...that is the best they have to offer?

Had we a Trump in Canada. He would receive my vote (put Canada first). Sound policy. Keep the texting to himself. Most of The trump, Republican policies, I would agree with. Don’t care for drilling in National Parks. Overall cut expenses, no wars, keep the warlords on the sidelines. People die, soldiers come home in caskets, mothers will always cry when their son/daughter dies. This will never change.
Here a few points regarding Trump

You might not like his personality, I am no American. However I'd be voting for RESULTS. First to make USA Energy Independent; First to deal directly with North Korea and bring home American deceased; First to tame China; First to address U.S. Border; Real Tax Cuts For Middle Class; NO NEW WARSl; Lowest Unemployment since 1969 (50-Years); Destroyed NAFTA; Stopped Clinton Crime Family; Draining the Deep State Swamp; FIRST PRESIDENT TO fulfill MORE promises than any other in Office! Trump may be the most accomplished President in our nation's history:
1) He got conservative judge Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Cony Barrett to the Supreme Court. Three Supreme Court Judges.
2) The stock market is at an all-time high. Before Covid-19.
3) Consumer confidence is at an all-time high.
4) He created millions of jobs by undoing Obama’s regulations.
5) Mortgage applications for new homes is at a 7 year high.
6) Unemployment rate is at a 50 year low. Before Covid-19.
7) Signed the promoting women in entrepreneurship act.
8) Gutted over 800 Obama era regulations thus freeing up companies to hire again and get the economy moving once again.
9) Ended the war on coal and caused a new mine for coal mining to open that will mine clean coal. He also put the miners back to work.
10) Weakened Dodd-Frank regulations.
11) Promotes buying and hiring American.
12) Investments from major businesses such as Foxconn, Ford ,Toyota, Intel and others will build here now.
13) Building the border wall as promised.
14) Fighting against sanctuary cities.
15) Changed the rules of engagement against ISIS.
16) Drafted a plan to defeat ISIS.
17) Worked to reduce the cost of the F-35 fighter jets.
18) Imposed a five year lobbying plan.
19) Sanctioned Iran over its’ missile program.
20) Responded to Syria’s use of chemical weapons.
21) Reduced tax reform plan.
22) Renegotiated NAFTA and replaced with the USMCA.
23) He withdrew from the Trans Pacific Partnership thus keeping jobs here.
24) He pulled us out of the Paris Climate Accords thus saving us millions of dollars every year.
25) Created a task force to reduce crime.
26) The DOJ is targeting dangerous gangs like MS-13.
27) Signed independence and economic growth law.
28) Signed an executive order to protect police officers and target drug cartels.
29) Signed an executive order for religious freedom.
30) His administration is working on sending education back to the states.
31) He’s fixing the dept. of Veterans affairs so now vets can choose their own doctors and be covered. This also protects whistle blowers and allows VA to terminate bad employees.
32) Authorized construction of the Keystone and Dakota pipelines. The Dakota pipeline is up and running without harming the environment.
33) Created commissions on election fraud and opioid addiction.
34) Food stamp use is the lowest level in decades along with government dependency.
35) Reduced the White House payroll saving taxpayers millions of dollars.
36) Has donated his Presidential salary to various causes.
37) Signed over 52 pieces of legislation.
38) Cut 600 billion from UN peacekeeping mission.
39) Gas prices lowest in more than 12 years.
40) Making NATO allies pay billions of their fair share of dues owed.
41) Signed Criminal Justice Reform, “First Step Act"."
42) Negotiated the USMCA trade deal with Mexico and Canada and eliminated the disastrous NAFTA.
43) Brokered the biggest trade deal in history between the United States and China.
44. Pfizer/Modena vaccine implementation.
Trump has been in DC for 4 years and is running on his accomplishments. Biden, and Sanders, have been in DC for 40 years, and are running on what they plan to do. Imprison there political rivals, and finance back Ukraine into the beginnings of ww3. Pretty easy choice to me.

She's a psycho right along with her mensa twin Bobert. Hard to believe these types of headcases can get elected but hey, if one is dumb enough to believe Trumps shtick, anythings possible.

Sad but very true. We were listening to former conservative MP Lisa Raitt on West Block last night and commented on how the discussion on the current financial issues would have gone had it been one of the MAGA clown chicks Bobert, or Taylor Green. It sure highlighted the glaring difference in the quality of the candidates on either side of the border, with Canada coming out a clear winner.

Exactly! How Canadians can be so concerned about Trump paying off a porn star, while Trudeau tries to cover up China interfering in our federal elections, is nothing short of amazing . How a out we worry about our own country, and let the Americans worry about their country?

I'm onboard with that idea, Trump and his antics is just an entertainment diversion. I wonder IF they arrest him if he will be walking with a cane and putting on a handicapped act like Weinstein did? Only time will tell.

So true.

On that note, if anyone wants to bet on if Trudeau will embarrass Canada or be involved in another scandal, within the next 30 days, I'll bet on that also.

Agree with you. Many quick to condemn trump. However not enough condemnation regarding our leader. The Truckers opened up a wedge. Next time pound that wedge through like hollands farmers.

Trump to be arrested, what about Trudeau/Freeland? At this point in time no politicians are trustworthy, the Truckers exposed our governments for who they really are and represent, Canadians are starting pay attention.

No big deal if gets arrested ,he will appeal .

This guy charging him doesn't have the time for small stuff like prostitution cases ,oh but we got Trump and there all Dems in that court .

If your going to take out a guy running for office and was a president at one time you better break his back and cripple him real bad, if you don't you may be looking for a job in the near future . How many hookers has Bragg slept with and paid off that will be coming forward very soon in the near future .

This double edged sword and swinging it like Bragg is ordered to do is very dangerous . You may just cut your own head off .

Had we a Trump in Canada...

You'd like to exchange one lying narcissist for a different one?
How do you think that's gonna turn out?

Agreed and that goes for our country as well, can't remember when I saw a really qualified candidate in the running, but then, that's today's society, Image is everything, substance not so much.

Personally I'm waiting for the following headline

TRUDEAU HAS BEEN ARRESTED

I would think that this would definitely be more interesting
