Default Nice

Congratulations on a beauty bird. My cousin got one in Ontario this morning as well. I'm heading to BC tomorrow for my first Turkey hunting experience.

It's all in the care and prep. Clean and cool them quickly. Brine them 24 hrs. Breasts are great cut into 3/8" cutlets, breaded and fried till golden brown. Eaten with mustard or a squeeze of lemon -mmmmmm.

The most difficult would be the diaphragm "mouth call". A lot of people seem to gag on them especially with the amount of different calls you can produce with it....
The other 2.... Pot call with a copper sound board and zebra wood striker are pretty easy too use. They come in MANY types of wood for the pot & striker. Calling surfaces can be copper, aluminum, glass, crystal, slate & ceramic and or a combination of both with one over the other...
The box call "AKA" paddle call... That one is burly maple, but they come in MANY different woods also. Excellent for loud yelps and cutting....
Pot Call is a custom done my way by Big Creek Game Calls and the Box Call is a custom done by Savage Calls
