Default Stone exterior

Seems most new homes have stone veneers. Are they using real stone, cultured, or faux stone? Where's a good place to price out real or cultured stone?

It is fake, but made of concrete or clay I think. I would check monarch exterior centre.

We recently built and have have real river rock on our exterior. Not by choice though. Damn architectural controls! Added about $30k to the bill. I'm pretty sure the rock came from Colorado. We also live in a neighborhood where the back of the house has to look as good as the front, so that didn't help matters.

I love my wife. I love my wife. I love my wife.

LOL.

Just think that $30K pays for quite a bit for a Stone or Dall sheep hunt !! Or one hell of a combo hunt !!
