Default Single pole shooting sticks

Hunted a few times with these shooting sticks .One hand hold your rifle and other hand carries the stick ,then you do not have a free hand for your binoculars etc. They are just a pain ! Looked at some Bipods that attach to the riffle ,but realy would like a single pole attached to my rifle to keep the weight down and only one pole to pull down .
Anyone seen any to buy ,or do i need to build one.

There are several makers of mono-pods. I'm a personal fan of the Bog Pod brand.....

I've never really liked a mono-pod as I find myself not as steady with it and I am always setting it down, etc. I like the tripod style for shooting off of, but obviously not as light as a monopod.

Sorry JR...I didnt see the edit about attaching to the rifle. My bad.

As for a monopod that attaches to the rifle, I'm not so sure....that could be a bit tougher to find...

I like the bog pod too.

Keep the allen key (supplied) handy for fine tuning 1 x per season.

JR...I thought about building one that sets up like those spring loaded tent poles. Prefabbed in two or three pieces. Never got around to it yet tho

HONESTLY tried monopods to work for me, but ended up with 36''(I think) SnipePod.
