anybody check the ice on these two lakes?

Just a reminder they are both closed until Dec 10th.

Yes both are closed till the 10th, i haven't checked Sylvan lately it's been to F'n cold..........i am concerned about all the early snow, might cause for some crappy ice.

Not that he said he planned on fishing it...but crazy that people don't check/know the regs.

wasn't planning on fishing it yet, i'm aware of the regs, i'm just curious how the ice is coming along. also anybody been to dickson pond?

Don't know about the ice been to busy with work. I do know the 10th of December will be here before one can blink the way months have been flying by.

Report from Sylvan today...

No open water, snow covered. Some ice heaves on the south end of the lake along the main beach. No footprints anywhere near the beach. My guess is not safe yet.

I wouldn't go on the ice yet. It is closed for a couple more weeks and should be ok to walk on by then....Depending on the weather.
