I'm not sure what the reason for this study, because governments and industry have spent millions over the past 20 years on caribou, with results not always positive.
The recent wolf cull in the Little Smoky area was successful, but of course, controversial. I suspect that was the genesis of this study. It will be interesting to hear from other scientists.
