Default Wmu 246

Hey everyone I'm going to make this short and sweet. Anyone hunted in wmu 246? I hear lots of whitetail is around there I was just wondering if it's true and how the people out there are willing to give permission. Thanks everyone.

The only sure way to know is to get out there yourself!

Its all private land with some areas small acreages. Start knocking on doors.

Hard to get permission due to its proximity to Edmonton everyone wants to go out there. If you go a little further West to 330 there is tons of deer and lots of crown land with good access.

There are lots of deer in pockets in 246. Some landowners are approachable.
The good hunting properties are limited because of acreage encroachment.
I would say the south end of the WMU might be easier to hunt.
