PIRELLI TIRES At costco
There is a $80 gift card from Costco if you buy four of PIRELLI TIRES.
Are these tires any good for Toyota 4Runner?
I use this 4 runner for hunting and every day use.
Thanks

Most of the major tire manufacturers are offering spring rebates for buying 4 tires ... like they do most every spring and fall.
For trucks and SUV's, I Much prefer Michelins over Pirellis. Michelin offers spring rebates too, and are also sold by Costco.

Had the Pirrelli scorpion on my Truck(stock). Was sceptical of the tire. Have 76,000 trouble free Km on them so far. Added 300lbs box (winter). No issue. They are good road highway tire.

Brand is not what makes a tire good or bad... It is the models within the brand and how the characteristics of those models apply to the use of your vehicle and your performance and ability expectations...

I bought a set of new takeoff Pirelli Scorpions from Kaltire once, put them on my Dodge 2500 diesel and would never do it again. For Highway use they were fine, but ANYTHING off road, including my driveway they were useless. I also only got 1/2 the miles out of them than I did BFG all terrains.

I can't say Pirelli's are bad, but from my experience I'd go with Cooper s/t Maxx or BFG KO2's for an all-season tire. I currently have the BFGs on my Taco, and will be getting winter tires also next winter.

I bought one set for my 4x4, and they didn't last at all on mixed pavement/gravel.
They rode very well, but the rubber seemed soft and they started cupping like crazy in no time at all. I went right back to 10 ply Hankooks and that's where I'm staying.

I picked up some snow tires from Pirrelli and they only lasted two seasons. The first season I was impressed with the grip, but in the second season they deteriorated quickly. Pirrelli is now on my pass list.

Costco
Ordered a new set for the wife’s car. Her last set of BFG had a ton of tread left but one had a slight leak for a couple years that needed to be topped off. Once they removed the tire noticed the tire starting to separate. No warenty as they were over five years old. The tires ordered are not in tell the 28 but already received the 8o dollar cash card in the mail

I had the pirelli scorpions on my f150. They were fine on dry pavement. Useless off road, useless on gravel, useless on snow, useless in the rain. They lasted about 25, 000 km before one went out of round. I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole.

Same problem I had with mine. Got them replaced by Ford in Red Deer on warranty, second set did the same thing. Granted they were on a car not a truck but I still won't even consider them. i'd rather have Bridgestone Dueler Revo2s on and those tires suck as it is...

we have the Perrelli's on our CX5 both summer and winter tires are the "scorpions" and we got them at Costco. I'm not a huge fan of them I should have stuck to Michelins.
